The Bank House
Given a last chance to make good, Leslie Whitlock brings his family to St. Clair, Nebraska, where an aunt has agreed to let him manage The Bank House. It is 1951, the story narrated by Leslie’s fourteen year-old son, Reeves, who will be forced to quickly grow up when a competing financial institution threatens to take their new home and business.
